Another change of date for the Anything Goes 3 exhibition

The date for the Anything Goes 3 art exhibition and silent auction has been changed again.

The show, which was originally supposed to be held during Spirit Fest, is now set for Friday, March 8.

“It would appear the date we had for Anything Goes III clashes with the fundraiser for the Hunt family,” Jackie Pendergast, executive director of the Revelstoke Visual Arts Centre, told The Current on Friday.

“For obvious reasons we wouldn’t  want to compete with that event. The board has decided to move to the night before Friday, March 8 at 7 pm.”

The show features works by local artists. They will all be up for grabs during a silent auction.

“This is a major fundraiser for new gallery flooring and I hope you will be able to support The Centre,” she said in an e-mail to local artists and patrons earlier this week. “Refreshments will be supplied by The Modern Bakery.”

Members of the public are invited to this fun evening making bids on unique pieces of art made by members of The Centre, enjoying snacks and spending time with friends. Tickets are available from Castle Joe Books and Art Supplies and at The Centre on March 4 and 5 from 1 pm until 5 pm. The tickets cost $5 each.
