Someone here won a fat wad of cash — $253,153,50, to be exact — during the Saturday, January 25, Lotto 649 draw.
The official BC Lottery Corporation website identified Revelstoke as the city where some lucky person purchased a ticket with five of the six winning numbers — plus the bonus number — drawn during Saturday night’s draw. The six numbers drawn were: 23, 27, 35, 40, 43 and 44. The bonus number was 13.
Check your numbers. I know I didn’t win and neither did Stewart McCartney who tipped me off as to the fact that a Revelstoke ticket won a quarter of a million bucks.
