If you’ve been dying to get your hands on some Grizzlies hockey team swag you won;t have to wait much longer.
“We will be getting Grizzlies merchandise available for sale in February,” Steve Smith, the team’s PR guy, said in an e-mail to local media. “You can check it out in the booster booth at the Forum.”
He also pointed to some games that should be pretty exciting including a January 18 home game against the Kamloops Storm and a January 19 home hame against the Summerland Sting.
“This is also a celebration night for Revelstoke Secondary School grads,” Smith said. “We’ve invited all 2013 grads to come to the game and they get in for a toonie. With that they get a Frisbee for the Jacobson Ford Frisbee toss and a chance to win some cash!”
The games on January 25, 26 and 27 are away games in Grand Forks, Castlegar and then (not marked on the pocket schedule) is Nelson on the Sunday.
Smith also noted that the pocket schedules erroneously show the February 6 match as an away game. In fact it’s a home game against the Chase Heat.
