The RCMP have released the name of the man who died in Thursday’s fire in Arrow Heights.
He was formally identified as Michael John Ralph, born in June of 1961, Staff Sgt. Jacquie Olsen told The Current on Friday afternoon.
Ralph died in a fire at his home at 1774 Tillen Road. The fire began at about 5 am. His body was recovered at about noon.
Fire crews found Mr. Ralph in the dining room area of the home. He was removed by fgirefighterss, but could not be resuscitated and was pronounced deceased at the scene. A family member managed to escape the fire.
