There’s at least one person out there who thinks we’re perfect.

The UK’s Daily Telegraph is running a story headl;ined: Revelstoke, Canada: the greatest ski resort on Earth.

“Revelstoke, in Canada, has not only lived up to its promise, but is now the perfect spot for every proficient skier,” says writer Peter Hardy.

“Five years have slipped by since I hailed Revelstoke in Canada as the most exciting development in snow business on either side of the Atlantic over the past 20 years.

“I predicted that within less than a decade Revelstoke Mountain Resort (RMR) would earn its place as one of the top 10, alongside Aspen, Jackson Hole, Whistler, St Anton, Chamonix, Val d’Isère, Courchevel, Verbier and Zermatt.”

“We’re getting all fired up,” Community Economic Development Director Alan Mason said.

When completed the building will house the Chamber of Commerce, Mason’s office and the Community Futures Development Corporation. It will also have commercial retail space on the ground floor.

The two-storey building was designed by CEI Architecture of Vancouver.
