Community Christmas Dinner is a fabulous tradition

Yesterday I had the privilege to participate in a wonderful Revelstoke Christmas tradition of a delicious free hot  turkey dinner and warm Christmas hospitality initiated by Matt Singh, his family and the rest of the gang at the Ol’ Frontier, an event that clearly brought joy to many people in the community.    I have heard of this initiative from my family for several years, how Matt opens up his restaurant to all who come and how scores of volunteers cook and serve Christmas dinner to those in Revelstoke who might not have the opportunity to share Christmas with family and friends around them.  Experiencing it first hand really was a treat and an enormous amount of fun.

With continued support from the community in years to come, I hope that Matt can maintain what is truly a fabulous Revelstoke Christmas tradition. Huge kudos to Matt for his generous and very welcome initiative.

Merry Christmas to all,
