The SAFER Clinic has changed its name.
“On behalf of our Sexual Health Clinic I would like to inform you of a name change,” Vivian Mitchell said in an e-mail to The Current late Monday afternoon. “The clinic will now be called the Revelstoke Options for Sexual Health Clinic or Revelstoke Opt instead of S.A.F.E.R. clinic.”
The physical address is 314 E. 2nd. St. and Box 13 with fax number 250-837-6879 and its e-mail is now revelstokeopt@gmail.com.
It remains a drop-in clinic every Wednesday evening from 7 pm to 9 pm that provides sexual health services including information, counseling, testing and affordable contraceptives. “It is non-biased, non-judgemental and confidential and welcomes all Revelstoke citizens,” Mitchell said.
