Steve Smith of Vic Van Isle Group received a few thank-you gifts from Begbie View Elementary students as a token of the school’s appreciation of the company’s donation of a new refrigerator. Students Erik Brosch and Courtney Atkinson did the formal presentation of a hand-made card shaped like a milk bottle and two bottles of moo-juice — plain and chocolate. Steve was in cow heaven. Principal Shan Jorgenson-Adam said the school really needed another fridge because the one they couldn’t handle all the milk and other food items kids wanted to store in it. David F. Rooney photo
