Nominations closed this afternoon at 4 p.m. with five nomination papers filed. The names of the candidates running in the byelection for Electoral Area ‘C’ Director are:
- Dan Adrian
- Cal Cosh;
- Phil Demenok;
- Chris George; and
- Opal Hendrickson.
The byelection was called due to the untimely passing of long-serving Area ‘C’ Director Ted Bacigalupo. General voting day for the by-election is September 29. The successful candidate will serve for the remainder of the current term ending in the fall of 2014.
