Saturday was Parks Day, the day people celebrate Canada’s national parks and here at Mount Revelstoke National Park. Superintendent Karen Tierney served up some deep and delicious chocolate cake from the Modern to visitors at Balsam Lake. It was cool, very buggy and still some very large patches of snow in the shade but that didn’t deter many tourists. David F. Rooney photo
