Lise Godin had the unenviable task of manning the Association des Francophones des Kootenays Ouest at the Farmers’ Market on Saturday. The Nelson woman was promoting and lending out French-language books from the organization’s Bibiliobus (Bookmobile) program. AFKO has become increasingly active in Revelstoke during the past five years, sponsoring the popular Bibliobus program, French-language plays and special, French-community dinners.
