The Revelstoke Visual Arts Centre has issued a Call for Entries for its next exhibit, Forests, which celebrates 100 years of Forestry in BC.
A statement from Executive Director Jackie Pendergast said work in all media will be accepted and there will be no entry fee.
“If you require any further information please contact me. I look forward to receiving lots of entries,” she said in a statement. “This is also the final call to local artists who wish to participate in this year’s Art in the Park on Mount Revelstoke. The theme is ‘Up Close’. If you are interested and haven’t yet registered please let me know by June 19.”
Pendergast encouraged all art lovers to visit the gallery “if you haven’t yet seen this month’s exhibitions which close on July 6. They are very diverse and well worth a visit. The gallery is open Tuesday – Saturday 12 – 4 pm.”
