The Best Western Plus Revelstoke has received some major awards, including the Best Western Chair Award, the hotel chain’s highest honor for outstanding quality standards.

A statement said Thursday that the Chair Award recognizes Best Western International hotels scoring in the top five percent of all 2,400 North American properties in cleanliness and maintenance. Hotels must also meet Best Western’s requirements for design and high customer service scores to qualify for the award.

It was also voted the 2012 #6 Hotel for Families in Canada by Trip Advisor.

“Receiving the Chair Award from Best Western’s is a tremendous honor,” General Manager Brady Beruschi said in the statement. “This award demonstrates our staffs’ commitment to providing quality accommodations for our guests. Our housekeeping, maintenance and Front Desk departments have worked extremely hard to achieve this level of excellence.

“I would like to acknowledge the hard work of my management team — Chelsea Lamont, Kelly O’Brien and Andre Cadieux. Without their leadership, these awards could not have been achieved.”

Located at 1925 Laforme Boulevard, the Best Western Plus Revelstoke features 87 rooms with two outdoor hot tubs, an outdoor swimming pool, full fitness facilities, hot breakfasts, an electric car-charge station, an onsite massage therapist and is connected to Boulder Mountain Liquor store.

Best Western International is the world’s biggest hotel chain, providing marketing, reservations and operations support to 4,200 independently owned and operated member hotels in 80 countries and territories worldwide. It hosts approximately 400,000 guests each night across the planet.
