Who stands on guard for thee? For at least a couple of months people driving down the Trans-Canada have been greeted by this shredded national flag at the intersection of the TCH and Highway 23N. Most Canadians don't share our American cousins' obsession with patriotism and flag-worship, but it is disconcerting to see our national flag allowed to become nothing more than a rag waving in the wind.
