Michael Gerard Monet passed away at his group home in Revelstoke on Saturday, March 31st, 2012 at the age of 46 years. A Funeral Service was held at the Chapel of Brandon Bowers Funeral Home, Revelstoke, on Wednesday morning, April 4 with Reverend Matthew Carter officiating.
Michael was born in Prince Rupert, BC, on April 20, 1965 and had been a resident of Revelstoke for the past two years.
Michael was predeceased by his father Jack Monet of Chetwynd and his sister Sharon Clayton of Revelstoke.
Michael is survived by his mother Violet Monet currently of Revelstoke, sister Sheila (Arnold) Emes of Chilliwack; niece Mavis (Brian) Holloway and her children Melissa and Andrew of Chilliwack; niece Charlene Copley and her sons Derek and Aaron of Nanaimo; nephew Glen (Marcella) Clayton and children Kurt, Kyle and Kristine of Edmonton; nephew Pat Clayton and his son Brandon of Edmonton; great great-nephew Adrian of Edmonton; brother-in-law John Hebert of Revelstoke as well as many friends.
The family sends many thanks to the staff and administrators of the 8th Street Group home, as well as the fellow guests for their excellent care and friendship of Mike during his stay.
Cremation arrangements were in the care of Brandon Bowers Funeral Home, Revelstoke.
