Mrs. Lois Elaine Campbell passed away at Queen Victoria Hospital, Revelstoke on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at the age of 72 years.
A Celebration of Lois’ Life will be held at the family home – 2020 Big Eddy Road, Revelstoke on Saturday afternoon, May 5, 2012 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1633 Pandosy Street, Kelowna, B.C. V1Y 1P6, in memory of Lois.
Lois was born in Frontier, Saskatchewan, on July 13, 1939, and had been a resident of Revelstoke since 1988. She and her husband, Ken operated the Revelstoke Texaco station for two years, and moved on to Mt. Begbie Auto Wreckers which they had for 18 years. Lois loved life and enjoyed the time she spent with Ken and the rest of their family.
Lois was predeceased by her parents, Gladys and Martin Skoglund and by one brother, Warren. She is survived by her husband, Ken of Revelstoke; step children: Tracy Lynn Campbell (Ed Crosse) of Penticton and Scott Campbell of Surrey; three grandchildren: Heather, Mary and Kyle; three sisters: Glenda Pell of Hawaii, Sandra (Keith) Wilson of Parksville and Shelley (Robert) Stephen of Campbell River as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many good friends.
