Need a reminder about your speed? Look for the new radar sign on Nichol
At last! A new radar sign has been installed on Nichol Road near Arrow Heights Elementary School! Some goof stole the previous sign last year and the Revelstoke Credit Union represented here by Roberta Bobicki and Revelstoke Credit Union Insurance represented by Randy Driediger (both on the left) found $3,200 to purchase a new one. Tracey Vopni (front, second from the right) of the AHE PAC organized a celebratory photo op Wednesday morning that brought out AHE Principal Todd Hicks (third from the left), members of the AHE Students Council and RCMP Const. Seanan Sharp. The new radar sign will surely help control speeds near the school, but what is really needed to keep kids safe near the school — particularly in the winter — is a new sidewalk.
