Oh My Darling brings that old-time blue grass sound to town

The Manitoba all-girl band Oh My Darling is bring their authentic old-time blend of bluegrass, Appalachian and French folk musc to the Big Eddy Pub on Thursday.

If you’ve never heard Oh My Darling before, brace yourself for an amazing medley of fiddle, bass, banjo and vocals as they play music from their second CD, Sweet Nostalgia.

Vanessa Kuzina (vocals, guitar, fiddlesticks), Rosalyn Dennett (vocals, fiddle), Allison de Groot (clawhammer banjo), and  Marie-Josée Dandeneau (acoustic bass) make up the members of Oh My Darling and together they’ll show you just what old-time music is all about.

In the last three years they have toured Europe and Canada, selling-out their shows and has toured ceaselessly, headlining sold out shows across Europe and Canada, as a publicity release says of their efforts, “winning the hearts of all who come to experience their energetic live show.

Oh My Darling performs at The Big Eddy Pub on Thursday, March 22, starting at 8 pm. There is a  $10 cover and it will be worth every penny.
