Jason Arthur Ross passed away in Queen Victoria Hospital, Revelstoke, BC on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at the age of 68 years.
A celebration of life service and reception will be held at the Revelstoke Seniors Centre on the afternoon of Saturday, February 18, between 1 and 4 p.m., with sharing of memories at 1:30 p.m.
Born in Vancouver, BCn on November 1, 1943, Jason has been a resident of Revelstoke since 1990, working with the Ministry of Highways and then BC Ferries south of Revelstoke until retirement at 64 years of age. He is well remembered for his social life, keeping active to the end, and love of friends and the outdoors.
He is survived by his loving children, Erin (Troy) Scott and Steve (Christina) Ross both of Kelowna; grandchildren, Morgan, Jakob, Tanner and Marcello; twin sister, Janice Byers of Kelowna and brother Mick (Inger) Ross of Pritchard.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent to the Revelstoke Seniors Association.
