2012 storytimes at the ORL’s Revelstoke Branch

Chilly winter days are a perfect time for young children to cozy up with book, and Okanagan Regional Library branch in Revelstoke has two special programs for free family entertainment. All programs are free, and you must register in-person at the library located at 605 Campbell Avenue inside the Recreation Complex.

Storytime is for children aged 3 to 5 years and will be held every Thursday from 1:15 to 2 p.m. until March 15. This program introduces the pleasure of books and the excitement of learning through stories, songs, and fingerplays, and is geared for children who are comfortable participating on their own in a group situation. Parents are always welcome to join if they wish.

Toddlertime is for children aged 2 to 3 ½ years with their caregiver. It will be held every Friday from 10:15 to 10:45 a.m. beginning on February 3 until March 9. Parents/caregivers please come prepared to sing, play and discover new ways to enjoy books with your toddler.
