Pat Wells is feeling a little steamed this week. The City Council candidate shelled out for lawn signs that he erected on both sides of the Big Eddy Bridge, Columbia Park and Arrow Heights and now they're gone. "Someone has stolen my signs," he said. "They didn't knock them down and they didn't touch anyone else's signs — just mine. They were there on Saturday night and they were gone on Sunday morning." Not only is it illegal to steal election signs it's a morally bankrupt thing to do. Someone who opposes another person's candidacy should have the courage to publicly oppose them — not steal their signs. David F. Rooney photo
