The City’s will cut down 10 maple trees infested by powdery mildew onMackenzie Avenue next week.

The ten trees scheduled for removal this fall have been marked with fagging tape. The tree cutting will be performed by City staff during the week of November 21 – 25. “The trees will be replaced in the spring with a variety of species diversifying our urban forest,” says a statement from the Department of Public Works.

The Public Works Department of the City of Revelstoke wishes to advise residents that the Big Eddy Bridge will be closed to all vehicular traffic due to bridge maintenance on Friday, November 18, from 7 am – 11 am.
