Chamber honours Revelstoke’s best businesses

The Community Centre’s Multi-Purpose Room was packed Saturday as Chamber of Commerce members held their annual Business Excellence Awards.

Guests at the dinner had a pretty good time; they enjoyed a silent auction and, after the meal, a casino. This year’s awards went to:

2011 Employee of the year is Tanya Young from Peoples Drug Mart
2011 Tourism and Hospitality Excellence Recipient — Courthouse Inn
2011 Industrial and Manufacturing Excellence Recipient — Mount Begbie Brewing
2011 Retail Excellence Recipient — Universal Footwear
2011 Environmentally Friendly Award — Sangha Bean
2011 Entrepreneurial Excellence — Benoit’s Wine Bar
2011 Home Based Business Excellence — The Revelstoke Current
2011 Community Support Excellence — Pharmasave
2011 Business of The Year — Home Hardware
2011 Business Person of the Year — Steven Hui Pharmasave
