Seniors' Association Executive Director Ruth Boettger (left) was all smiles as she accepted a cheque for $210 from Meghan MacIsaac, the Community Centre's Program Coordinator Thursday. MacIsaac said the Community Centre has been donating the proceeds of towel rentals to deserving local groups and individuals. Since January, the Community Centre had donated over $1,300 to the Tyler Smith Foundation, Revelstoke Humane Society, Revelstoke Community Child Care Society, Revelstoke Community Foundation Environmental Fund, Library Summer reading Club, Revelstoke Hospital Auxiliary, Revelstoke Senior Citizens Association, Hospice Society and the Women’s Shelter.
