Railway Days in Pictures: Day Four

Railway Days ended Sunday with a classic car show at the Railway Museum, a talk about the dangers and advantages of digital photography and music at Grizzly Plaza.

Archivist Brian Wilson of the Okanagan Archive Trust Society talks about how digital photography can help institutions such as the Railway Museum ensure that difficult-to-preserve images care preserved for the future. But digital images carry a risk, too: they can easily be manipulated to alter history as he demonstrates here with an image of an ice-boat race.
