This 3.8-pound behemoth was grown by one of my neighbours who declined to be identified. But I can tell you it was destined for her grand-daughter's wedding rehearsal dinner on Wednesday dinner. As you can see it dwarfs one of its normal-sized cousins. It may not be attractive but I ate one of it's not-much-smaller bretheren and found it to be quite meaty and tasty. Now that's a tomato!
