It seems counterintuitive, but if you get a massage at Bodylogic Therapeutic Massage this Saturday, August 20, the donation you make will be given to a non-governmental organizations trying to feed the starving men, women and children in the Horn of Africa.

“We just wanted to feel like we could contribute to the solution in some small way,” said Bodylogic’s Karen Schneider.

She said she and fellow Registered Massage Therapist Kendra Kent did not want to be helpless onlookers to the tragedy unfolding in Somalia and Kenya.

“What’s really needed is food and shelter and more food,” she said, adding that the federal government will match the funds raised.

The Bodylogic Therapeutic Massage Clinic is located on the ground floor of the Arlington Building at Suite 103 – 103 First Street East.
