The North Columbia Environmental Society is having a fundraiser at the Village Idiot for the Community Garden this coming Tuesday and you are invited.
And why wouldn’t you attend this great event on The Idiot’s patio? The NCES is offering appetizers from some of the leading kitchens in town including the 112, Woolsey Creek, La Baguette, the Modern and more. You can wash that down with organic BC wine and listen to the music of Denis Severino and others at the Open Mic.
“Join us on Tuesday, August 30, on the patio of the Village Idiot and the green space next to it by the United Church anytime after 5 pm,” says a statement from the NCES. “Come and find yourself surrounded by fresh cut flowers, flickering candles, fresh evening air, soulful tunes, and great company. We plan to transform the place!”
