Accused killer’s court appearance put over until September 1

Joshua Tyler Bredo, the 26-year-old accused of killing Daniel Jordan Levesque, made a brief appearance in Victoria Provincial Court Thursday, according to the Victoria Times Colonist.

The newspaper report said Bredo appeared via video link and his case was put over until September 1.

It is not unusual for cases to be put over multiple at least once before they actually get underway. In fact, it is quite possible that that it may be a year before Bredo goes to trial. However, because he is accused of murder he will not be granted bail and will remain in custody in the Victoria jail until he goes to trial.
