Expect water interruptions with the July 25-27 Lower Town Valve-Exercising Program

As it prepares for Lower Town road reconstruction, the municipal Utilities Department will be conducting water valve testing that may affect all residents from King Street to Wilson Street and from Victoria Road to Front Street.

The tests will take place from Monday, July 25, until Wednesday, July 27.

“During this time you may experience water outages and dirty water, water services will be restored by the end of each day and to clear your lines of dirty water please let your water run,” the department said in a statement issued Wednesday morning.

“If you have any questions in regards to the above testing taking place please call the City of Revelstoke Public Works Department at 250-837-2001.”

Over $1 million in building permits issued in June
