The North Columbia Environmental Society has 13 used but well-repaired and much-loved commuter bikes to give away as part of Bike to Work Week.
If you’d like to ride to work or school but don’t have a bicycle then the NCES might have a match made in heaven for you!
Send them a 300-word story stating why you need a bike. Include your name, age, height (to match you to a bike), e-mail and phone number.
Send your application to ncesociety@gmail.com with the subject header: “Bike to Work Week Contest”.
The deadline to receive applications is Friday, May 20 at 4 pm.
