Where’s Flat Stanley?

Where's Flat Stanley? Back in 1964 the late author Jeff Brown published a book about how Stanley turned flat and started visiting friends in an envelope. In 1995, Dale Hubert, a third-grade teacher in Ontario began the Flat Stanley Project. He invited other teachers to take part by hosting flat visitors and to encourage their students to write their own Flat Stanley journals. Now it looks as though Revelstoke will be the backdrop for at least one Flat Stanley adventure. One of Steve and Patty Platte's grandchildren sent them a Flat Stanley from San Diego and asked if they would shoot him in front of various local landmarks. The Current came across Patty and Stanley posing for Steve in front of the RMR Presentation Centre downtown. Flat Stanley was also photographed in front of City Hall, at the Railway Museum and elsewhere. Sounds like fun!
