The third day of the Revelstoke Spirit Festival was largely hijacked by the Superbowl with bars across town tuning into the big game as snow began to fall — yet again this week.
There were a few other things going on, festival-wise, The Iron Mountain Theatre Company from Rossland performed their highly original Ski Bum — The Musical at the Community Centre and Maggie Davis and Broken Down Suitcase performed at Riverside Landing and the Last Drop, respectively. If you missed the musical on Sunday you can always catch its second and final performance at the Community Centre on Monday evening at 7 pm. The musical is free and should be a hoot. Davis will be performing at Bad Paul’s on Thursday and Broken Down Suitcase? Alas they’re done here for now. Perhaps they’ll be back for a later engagement.
