Parks, Recreation and Culture Director Kerry Dawson will discuss proposed budget cuts that may directly impact local user groups and individuals on Monday February 21 at the Community Center from 6 pm -9 pm.
“Keeping this meeting focused on the user groups we will hopefully all gain a better understanding of the proposed budget and what it means to us, the users groups,” said Sonia Cinelli, the local woman who organized an ad hoc campaign to soften the impact of proposed municipal budget cuts on Parks and Rec programs.
“We all have a lot to say and we are very passionate about the very thing we are all trying to protect from the threat of proposed budget cuts. Kerry welcomes this meeting. Please take part in this healthy and respectful engagement.”
