Meet young Master Shakespeare! Vanessa Smith’s 11-week-old puppy weighs 32 pounds and likely will prove to be every bit as large as Basil, the beloved dog who loved to greet patrons at Smth’s Grizzly Books and Serendipity Shop and who died last year. “We returned from sun and fun on Tuesday evening and picked up our big boy, Shakespeare on Wednesday afternoon,” Smith said in an e-mail to The Current Sunday. “I will be in the store all day with him tomorrow (Monday) — ain't he a cutie?” Photo courtesy of Vanessa Smith
