Robert (Bob) Brummitt died in Revelstoke’S Queen Victoria Hospital, December 21st, at the age of 60.
A memorial for Bob will be held at the Senior Center, in Revelstoke, Saturday January 8th at 1 pm.
Bob was born on July 23rd, 1950, in Brandon, Manitoba. Bob spent most of his years working as a talented stone mason, many examples of his work can be seen all around the Revelstoke area. Bob was a dedicated, hardworking man who proved there was no challenge too difficult for him. He enjoyed spending most of his time outdoors. Bob had an electric energy that was hard to resist not liking to all that were around him. Bob had a way with children and whether it be his own or others around him they seemed to gravitate towards him.
Bob is survived by his long-time wife Barb of Salmon Arm, three children: Cassie, of Revelstoke, Allie, of Calgary, Cole, of Salmon Arm, his mother Lou, of Kamloops, three brothers, John (Tessie), of Burnaby, Phillip, of Kamloops, David, of Vancouver Island, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as his treasured grand-dogs.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the “Tyler Smith Fund” in Bob’s name.
