Alana Brittin to represent Arrow Heights at the CanWest Spelling Bee

Arrow Heights Elementary held the selection round Monday for its representative to the CanWest Spelling Bee coming in February to Kamloops.

Today’s school round of 12 competitors followed a school-wide competition for intermediate students in each of their classes. These 12 top spellers competed in Monday’s spell-off in front of the entire school and parents.

“Congratulations to Alana Britton who will be representing our school in Kamloops,” said Principal Todd Hicks. “The top speller from this regional competition will earn a trip to Ottawa for the national competition.”
