Customer Appreciation Day at Big Eddy Market

By David F. Rooney

Beg Eddy Market has, over the last several months, had a complete facelift and on Saturday its owner, Vince Sessa, held a Customer Appreciation Day to thank all of his customers for their patience.

Vince invited The Current to come have a donut and a coffee. That’s an offer I find hard to resist and I took a few photos that I’d like to share with you:

Acting Mayor Steve Bender cuts the ribbon that marked Customer Appreciation Day at Vince Sessa's (center by Bender) Big Eddy Market on Saturday. Bender told the people who gathered for coffee and donuts in the market's cafe that the renovation and renewal of the neighbourhood's store is indicative of the kind of positive economic changes the City needs.
