Knights’ generosity benefits the Quilting Guild

The Mount Revelstoke Quilting Guild received a donation of $1,000 from the Knights of Pythias on Saturday and returned the generous gift with a gift of their own: a beautiful quilt made by several of their members.

Kevin Coulter, Grand Chancellor for the Knights of Pythias domain of BC, said “You ladies are doing something with your hands that goes back to the community,” noting that the quilter’s guild have produced quilts and raised money for several community organizations.

The quilting guild is among many local organizations that the Knights of Pythias have donated to this year. Kevin Coulter says that this year alone the KOP will have donated over $50,000 to Revelstoke causes.
