Cruickshank appears in Alberta Provincial Court via CCTV

Brandon Cruickshank, the young local man charged with two counts of murder in connections with the deaths of Jimmy Armillotta of Revelstoke and Fil Kedzior appeared in Cold Lake, Alberta, Provincial Court on Oct. 27.

The 18-year-old appeared via closed–circuit TV from the Edmonton Remand Centre and will next appear — again by CCTV — in Cold Lake Provincial Court on Nov. 24.

According to news reports in Alberta a bail hearing will be held at Court of Queen’s Bench. It is extremely unlikely that he will receive bail as he is charged with first-degree murder.
