Local businessman Peter Bernacki is offering a $1,000 reward for the recovery a 14-foot aluminum fishing boat that was stolen from his cabin in Sicamous a few days ago.
“Can you help to get my boat back?” he asked in an e-mail late Thursday. ”I reported the theft to the Sicamous RCMP this afternoon. My 14-foot aluminum boat with trailer was ready to go fishing.
“We are prepared to give a $1,000 reward for the safe return of that lucky boat.”
