Last night (October 14), Revelstoke was treated to an outstanding live broadcast of a British play at the Roxy Theatre but almost no one came. Those who attended were uniformly vocal in their praise for the excellence of the production so… a word to the wise, don’t miss the next one!
Driving to Salmon Arm after the snow flies is a daunting challenge for me so I believe we are so very lucky to have this opportunity at home. Both the 2010-2011 British National Theatre and the Metropolitan Opera series are being shown. But, obviously, if we don’t make it worthwhile for the theatre owners to provide this service, it can’t be offered again.
