Sangha Bean Proprietor Krista Manuel held a poetry and spoken word evening at her Connaught Avenue cafe and attracted a small but ardent group of poetry lovers. "Well David what can I say?" she said in an e-mail to The Current. "I am keen. The evening was a sucess in my eyes. A small group and some wonderful material. I want to thank them all: Patti Shonek, Peter Waters, Frieda and Gerry Livesey, Poppi Reiner, Molly Higgins and myself."
