She looked nervous — even apprehensive — but by the end of her long-anticipated date with hair stylist Helen Brum’s clippers, Nel Lord was all smiles at Tuesday’s Golf Fore The Cure tournament at the Revelstoke Golf Club.
And why not? She managed to raise more than $2,400 for breast cancer research and entertained the 65 other golfers who came out for the event. All told Revelstoke raised more than $8,000.

Here some of them were paying $2 a putt to see if they could put their ball on the $50 bill in the foreground.
