Toonie Race won by Macintosh and Bernier

Brendan Macintosh and Melanie Bernier were the big winners in Revelocity’s Toonie Race No. 3 while Kellen Viznaugh received a special mention for racing in the under-18 cateory.

Men: 1st ($117) Brendan Macintosh, 2nd ($70) Don Robertson, and 3rd ($47) Rich Hamilton.

Women: 1st ($80) Melanie Bernier, 2nd ($50) Sally Carmichael   Macintosh and Bernier also received one-hour massages from Helios Rehabilitation and Performance.

“Also, we did our grand prize draws for which all riders and volunteers were eligible,” Revelocity’s Pete Smillie said in an e-mail to The Current. “Congratulations to Brook Glanville who took home a day of heli-skiing with Selkirk Tangiers, also awarded were an iPod Touch, a two-day trail running clinic, a Patagonia shoulder bag, and a wide assortment of cycling gear and clothing.”

He also wanted to thank the Toonie sponsors: Selkirk Tangiers Heli-ski, Stoke Roasted Coffee, Pharmasave, Skookum, Flowt, Ryder Sunglasses, Patagonia and the Sports and Outdoor X-Training School.
