Revelstoke Bear Aware’s Volunteer of the Month for July — Victoria Leeson
Victoria Leeson is a new volunteer with The Gleaning Project, which gathers surplus fruits and vegetables from our community. She is giving her time to Bear Aware because she is interested in being involved in our community and wants to meet new people. By supporting this project, she is helping Bear Aware by reducing bear attractants as well as supporting the Community Connections Food Bank. Victoria, an Australian, has been living and working in Canada for three years as a Red Seal Chef and also volunteers with the Breast Cancer Society of Canada. Thank you for your support Victoria!
