Joseph Peter (Joe) Lenzi passed away at his home in the presence of his loving family on Friday, July 30, 2010, at the age of 58 years.
A Celebration of Joe’s Life will be held at the Revelstoke Community Center on Tuesday, August 10 at 1:30 p.m.

Joe was born in Summerland, B.C., on September 2, 1951, and had been a resident of Revelstoke since the early 1970s. He and his brothers Rob and Ray along with friend Andy Anderson started Sure Haul Transportation in 1987. Joe will be remembered as a good mechanic with an uncanny ability to keep things running. He always put the needs of others first and their safety was paramount to Joe. He was always there for others and could always be counted on when required. Joe loved his work and enjoyed his hobbies; in younger years he loved sailing, racing motorcycles, hunting and more recently collecting his tractors.
Joe was predeceased by parents; his brothers; Tom in 1999, Rob in 2007 and his wife Doreen in 2006. He is survived by his friend and companion Janet Pearson of Revelstoke; one brother, Ray (Paulette) of Sullivan Valley, B.C.; sister, Janet Lenzi of Revelstoke and sister-in-law- Ellen Lenzi of Revelstoke; granddaughter, Abbi Vigue of Revelstoke, Cole Vigue of Texas, great granddaughter, Mataya of Revelstoke as well as numerous nieces and nephews and many good friends.
