Screen Smart Week has a full lineup of activities

Screen Smart, Revelstoke’s innovative week-long program helping families and children manage media, gets underway on Saturday with a strong lineup of activities.

As in past years there is a heavy emphasis on family activities and 2010 is no different in this regard. This year there’s also a special Lego Creation event. Participants will build their own special Lego creation and then bring it to the Community Centre on May 14 from 5 until 6 pm and receive a Lego Swim Pass for that evening. The lego creations will on display from 6 until 8 pm and a random draw will be held at 6 pm for participants in each age category: pre-schoolers and Kindergarten; Grades 1-3; Grades 4-7; and Grades 8 to adult. For more information about this event please call the Child Care Society at 250-837-6669 or the Community Centre at 250-837-9351.
