Scottish Country Dancers hang up their shoes but make a donation, too

Joanne Pendrak (left) and Marla Mason (right) presented Revelstoke Museum Curator Cathy English with a cheque for $1,202.92 on Wednesday. The money was all that remained of the Scottish Country Dancers group that has been an on-again/off-again fixture in the community. This latest incarnation of the group, which brought people together to perform traditional dances, was begin in the 1990s. It folded, this time, because its membership had dwindled to just four members. But it may be resurrected if there is enough public interest in Scottish Country Dancing. David F. Rooney photo
