The strings of colourful paper cranes were then attacked to a wire by students Ronnie Brunetti, Gus Sibbald, Emily Federico, M'Liz Lee, Abbey Renaud and Jordie McNutt. The 10,000 cranes will be transported to Grizzly Plaza on Thursday afternoon for the evening Commemorative Service on the 100th anniversary of the Rogers Pass avalanche that killed 58 workers.
